1.  PLEASE READ ALL THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE AND ALSO READ OUR PRIVACY POLICY REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

  • Your access to and use of the-agile-coach.com and www.greer-taylor.com (“the Website”) is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions.
  • By using the Website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you must immediately stop using the Website. Your continued use of the website shall be deemed to be your acceptance of these terms
  • As we can accept your order and make a legally enforceable agreement without further reference to you, you must read these terms and conditions to make sure that they contain all that you want and nothing that you are not happy with.   • The Agile Coach, the-agile-coach.com and www.greer-taylor.com, are Trading Names of Greer & Taylor Services LLP, registered in the United Kingdom (company number: OC432026, registered address: 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU).
  • Any reference in this policy to “The Agile Coach”, “the-agile-coach.com ”, “www.greer-taylor.com”, “we”, “us” or “our” is to Greer & Taylor Services LLP; whilst the terms (“you”, “your”, “participant”, “student”, “attendee(s)”) refer to you, our customer.
  • We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website (see the date at the bottom of page) and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

2. Events & Training Terms and Conditions

  • By registering for a public course or workshop, you agree to these terms and conditions. These define the complete conditions governing your participation. Changes, additions or customers own terms and conditions are not valid unless confirmed in writing by the event organiser.

3.  Registration

  • The number of participants is limited. Registrations are processed in the order received.
  • You agree to provide correct, complete, and up-to-date information necessary for processing and invoicing your registration. A valid email address is required to correspond with you. Your registration will be processed electronically on the organiser’s systems and/or on “cloud” services.
  • You agree that we may process your registration as described and that we may share this information with partners if necessary for processing your registration or holding the course. If the course is a certified course, then your data must be forwarded to the Certifying Body for certification.
  • We will not sell or otherwise misuse your data. It will only be used for registration and for keeping you up to date on workshops. By signing up to a course you agree to be added to our mailing list, this is used initially to provide you with course joining information, and afterwards to keep you informed with information from the community and upcoming events. If you wish to unsubscribe, please do so using the facility on the email.

4.  Course Fees and Discounts

  • Public Training
    • Payment of participation fees is due before one week prior to the start of the course. Non payment of fees at this stage could result in you losing your place on the course.
    • We may offer discounts on regular course fees. To qualify for the discount, you must claim the discount when you register. Published discounts are subject to change without notice.
    • Greer & Taylor Services LLP offers a loyalty discount to all of its past customers, please contact us if you do not have your discount code and we will reissue this for you. Please note that the discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
    • As our public courses take place in the United Kingdom, the Intra-EU reverse charge is not applicable, therefore VAT is chargeable. By booking onto our public training you confirm your acceptance of the requirement to pay VAT regardless of your location within the European Union.

5. Customer Cancellation/Substitution Policy

 

  • Public Training
    • Registration is binding.
    • Cancellation is possible up to two weeks before the start of a course without cost. After that point, the full course fee is due independent of whether the registered person takes part in the course or not. Participants can be substituted without charge.
    • If participants wish to reschedule a registration within two weeks of the course date, a fee of £200.00 (+VAT) will be incurred.
    • To cancel or substitute a registration, please contact us at support@the-agile-coach.com.
    • In the event that a course must be cancelled due to an insufficient number of registered participants or illness of the trainer, fees that have already been paid will be refunded in full. Any other claims for compensation will not be allowed.

  • These terms apply to Training Package bookings, with the exception of the “any other transfer” term – delegates can reschedule training at no additional charge for a maximum of 3 transfers per training package if more than two weeks notice is given. After the maximum of 3 transfers, the “any other transfer” term will come into effect.  If participants wish to reschedule a registration within two weeks of the course date, a fee of £150.00 (+VAT) will be incurred.
  • Should a delegate be unable to complete the full course through illness or extenuating circumstances, you may arrange to complete missed days of the course at a later date (subject to our public training schedule) at a cost of £100 plus VAT per missed day. You will be required to bring your original class materials along. Please get in contact with us at  support@the-agile-coach.comas soon as possible.

6.   Delivery of the Training

  • Public Training
    • Course duration, price, content, and other details are defined in the course description. The course price includes handouts, materials, lunches and refreshments. Additional services (e.g. dinner) may be provided for specific events. Please see the event description for details.
    • Greer & Taylor Services LLP reserves the right to cancel or change any course and undertakes to provide reasonable notice of the cancellation or change except in the case of an emergency. If we alter the date of a course, registered participants have the right to change or cancel without charge. Where a course has been cancelled, delegates will receive a full refund, or a 5% discount to be transferred to an alternative date for the registered course. We cannot guarantee that a particular trainer will deliver the course.
    • There will be no entitlement to compensation/costs or damages arising from such a cancellation or change.

7.   Intellectual Property

  • Intellectual Property – all work product shall be considered Background IP.
  • Background Intellectual Property shall mean Intellectual Property, proprietary information or confidential know-how relevant to the engagement which is in the possession of a party prior to the commencement of the engagement or generated after commencement of the engagement but independent of the engagement. Such product remains the property of Greer & Taylor Services LLP, including, but not limited to ideas, inventions, improvements, discoveries, software design, software coding, charts, drawings, specifications, notebooks, tracings, photographs, negatives, draft or final reports, findings, recommendations, data and memoranda.
  • Works published under copyright during the term of the service agreement and this SOW will remain copyright of Greer & Taylor Services LLP, unless explicitly agreed within a statement of work, or licensing agreement. Greer & Taylor Services LLP retains all rights to work undertaken under the term of the agreement, unless published under a community license such as the Creative Commons, in which case ownership may pass to the community. No client content shall be so published without written permission.

8.   Force Majeure

  • In no event shall Greer & Taylor Services LLP be responsible or liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations hereunder arising out of or caused by, directly or indirectly, forces beyond its control, including, without limitation, strikes, work stoppages, accidents, acts of war or terrorism, civil or military disturbances, nuclear or natural catastrophes, inclement weather and communications or computer (software and hardware) services, it being understood that Greer & Taylor Services LLP shall use reasonable best efforts which are consistent with accepted practices as a training provider to resume performance as soon as practicable under the circumstances.

9. Registered Trademarks and Copyrights

  • We provide no guarantee that any products, processes and other names mentioned are not registered trademarks of third parties.
  • By registering for a course, you agree to observe the following conditions of use:
    • Materials used in the courses are subject to copyright restrictions and are made available for personal use during the course.
    • Without written permission from the event organiser, course materials, text, photos etc. may not be copied, scanned, reproduced, translated or processed electronically, nor may they be used for internal or external purposes.
    • All materials are the intellectual property of the course trainers and event organisers (except where explicitly marked).

10. Miscellaneous

  • We may draw on assistance from third parties to meet its obligations under this agreement. Should any part of these terms and conditions be found to be incomplete or invalid, the parties agree to replace or complement the missing or invalid clauses with an appropriate solution that preserves the economic purpose of this agreement to the extent possible. The remaining conditions remain valid in any case.
  • We reserve the right to modify the course program as well as these terms and conditions without notice.
  • These terms and conditions and any dispute arising out of your registration are subject to the laws of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
